Why to Believe in Others

by LaDonna Coy on January 9, 2012

No one says it better than Victor Frankl, and in only 4 minutes. What will we choose to believe about others as we begin a new year?

What if we all practiced this one little thing for 2012?
What would that make possible?

Some will say it is too simplistic, that no thing this small could every make a difference on a large scale.
But what if they’re wrong?
Let’s give it a try. We don’t have anything to lose.

LaDonna,

I don’t know where you found this video clip but it is fantastic! Great points and told with great storytelling flare. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Ash,
So glad you dropped by and appreciate your comment on the video. I happen to be a fan of Victor Frankl since grad school where I learned about him. What a wonderfully simple thing we can all do – to make the world a better place — to look for and expect the best in each other.

The story reminds me of working with assessment and evaluation — we generally find what we’re looking for — the question is what are we looking for?
